In which I tried to rip off learn from cygaj, because damn son, her art makes me smile. In retrospective, this actually looks nothing like her stuff, but that’s okay because I still think it looks nice and my work process on it was fun.
I felt like doing a super quick’n’crappy doodle of a character from an absolutely brilliant show you all should really be watching.

I’ve been catching up on Double Fine’s Amnesia Fortnight videos (you’re all watching, right? it’s so inspiring and motivating and fun!) lately, and I got a glance at a design for the White Birch main character. Though nice, it didn’t look like how I’d have imagined her in my head based on Andy’s pitch. So I took it as an excuse to do a little character design practice and come up with my own design!
Tried to go for a somewhat nedroid-esque shading/colouring here.
